About the event

A short Guided walk highlighting the fascinating stories of the main architectural landmarks of Harrow and Wembley.

Open Day to visit 931 year old church and churchyard.

Spire Cafe open for home-cooked fayre and great hospitality.

Guided walk (1 hour): 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM (Meet at St Mary's Church Lych Gate).

We have prepared for you an entertaining look at the architectural development of the landmark buildings in our area. We look at the amazing story of how St Mary's Church, Harrow on the Hill, was considered a key point by major players for over 1200 years. How the core buildings of Harrow School spread into the magnificent architecture visible today, and we explain the development of the Wembley Stadium Complex and its links to Metroland.

Our 931 year old church will be open all day--come and hear about its magnificent history and visit the beautiful churchyard.
