Christian Aid Week takes place this year from 12– 18 May. Christian Aid began as a charity working with refugees in Europe following the Second World War. It is now one of the foremost aid and development charities working with over 700 local organisations in 50 countries. St Mary’s has supported the work of Christian Aid since its inception and we are identified as a church willing to respond in the face of sudden emergencies but our main fundraising initiative for the charity focuses on Christian Aid Week each May.
